Just stumbled across this script - it looks very impressive
I wonder, if it is possible to have one shared user table, for all users on the various forums
Yeah, I know - it could sound like a single instance forum, but I would like my users to be able to admin and configure their own "local" forum (like phpBBs), and at the same time, participate in the other forums, and furthermore be part of the "master" forum, with the use of the same userID. Is this possible with phpBBs?

Re: Shared user table?
No, its not possible. Every forum has its own set of tables.

Re: Shared user table?
I am looking into this too and would like to have a Joomla 1.5 framework as the master database.
I wonder if I can use different forums then but with a user sync of phpbbhs slaves using a universal Joomla 1.5 framework integrator?
The new version Jfusion 1.0.7 is out soon with impressive functionallity to integrate phpBB 3 forums user syncs, version 1.0.7 dualsync.
This should work too with phpbbhs in a subforum? (ie http://www.joomla.com/forumphpbbhs )
http://www.jfusion.org/phpbb3/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=572
http://www.jfusion.org/index.php?option ... &Itemid=71
--------- short info ----------------------------
JFusion will force Joomla to use an exteral software as the "master" of usermanagement. This has the advantage that users can login to both Joomla the software integrated by JFusion using the same username/password. No core hacks are made which has the advantage that your can upgrade your softwares normally without reconfiguring JFusion.

Re: Shared user table?
so can you also then install several phpbbhs under the same domain as I mentioned before like http://www.joomla.com/forum1, http://www.joomla.com/forum2, http://www.joomla.com/forum3 etc and use this with user sync JFusion and Joomla?
