Hi,
I'm currently using Mihalism Multi Forum Host ( mihalism.com/mihalism-multi-forum-host/ ) and I just wondering if I would be able to migrate from Mihalism Multi Forum Host to phpBBHS without losing my current users data?
Thanks in advance!

Re: Migrating from another hosting script.
If forums list can be read and it doesn't modify databases of hosted forums, then it is possible to create a convertor. I'll check it tomorrow

Yes, it seems to be possible to make a convertor, I'll probably make one sometime this week.

I was just about to ask the same exact question, then I saw this topic. Please let me know where I can get one too. Thanks!

Re: Migrating from another hosting script.
Hi there it looks like this thread may do what I want it to do, I'm a bit new to this so I'll have to explain my circumstances.
I have a Simple Machines forum with host a, using a mysql 5.0 database.
I want to move it to the same hosting company, but under a different account without any noticeable data loss or linking problems, so:
http://sitea.com/forum becomes http://siteb.com/forum
Then I can delete all information on site A.
I tried to do this, but the database I backed up contains all the linking for site a, so now when someone goes to the new site, the main forum index.php is there but as soon as you click any link it points to the old pages that are not there anymore on site a.
So, is it the database or the links that need resolving?
Many thanks!

@Waxer, your circumstance is not same as mine. Not even close by the way.
However, if you would like to have your SMF Installation moved to the new domain name you mostly like to alter the url settings in the Database after all files and settings are in the new domain name.
PM me for more details.
