My host supports dedicated IP, but does NOT support Wildcard DNS for subdomains. So, my question now is, does everydns.net allow unlimited subdomains for free? (im new to wildcards and not sure how it works)
Is everydns.net reliable or would it be a better choice to look for a paid service?

Re: My host supports dedicated IP, but does NOT support Wildcard
It is very reliable, I've been using it for 5 (maybe even 6) years so far. Over the years I had problem only once with domain that wasn't sync'd properly across their nameservers, which I solved by re-doing all record of that domain.
There are limits, but they are rather high so you won't have any problems. To remove limits just donate and all limitations will be removed, I have donated twice so far, which is way cheaper than paying for a commercial service while being very reliable.

Yes, I agree and have no problems with making a donation for good service. Thank you for your quick reply.
Re: My host supports dedicated IP, but does NOT support Wildcard
I'm pretty new to wildcard and was wondering which option would I choose for the wildcard?
------- EveryDNS.net options below -------------
1) Add new domain:
2) Make domain secondary using as master nameserver.
3) Make domain dynamic.
4) Make domain a webhop to

Add new domain, then select it, then add new record, then remove default ones.

Re: My host supports dedicated IP, but does NOT support Wildcard
I just discovered a new problem with my hosting.
I have a dedicated IP, but my hosting does not allow this for add-on domains. So, I was wondering if this script would still work if the i had the settings something like this on the script:
http://1.2.3.4.5/addon_domain_folder/

You don't need add-on domains function. As long as you have a dedicated IP, anything that points to that IP should show your website, and phpbbhs show appropriate content depending on what domain was used.

Re: My host supports dedicated IP, but does NOT support Wildcard
just to be clear, my master domain is:abc.com and this is where the dedicated IP is pointed to, but the domain I want to use for the forum script is xyz.com (the add-on domain of the master account)
If you goto http://1.2.3.4.5/ it will bring you to abc.com
Would I still be able to use this script for xyz.com?

Yes, if you can point that domain to your IP, which is easily done using third party dns service.

Wonderful; going to go make a payment for the script. Thank you!
