I can consider it but will be a custom development cost plus monthly maintenance fee.

Re: Open ID Login
I was looking through the coding and found this:
This is some of the openID providers apparently it can use: GOOGLE/YAHOO are apart of them.
------------------
EDIT: I also found this
http://sourceforge.net/projects/phpbb-openid/
^which has been tested on phpBB3.
Code: Select all
var providers_large = {
google : {
name : 'Google',
url : 'https://www.google.com/accounts/o8/id'
},
yahoo : {
name : 'Yahoo',
url : 'http://me.yahoo.com/'
},
.....

Re: Open ID Login
Thanks for looking at it.
I prefer http://sourceforge.net/projects/alternatelogin/
http://www.consof.com/index.php?page=alternatelogin
because it has Facebook and also Google and Yahoo.
But I read http://www.phpbb.com/community/viewtopic.php?t=1883675
Certain providers will not be incorporated (i.e. Yahoo and Google) as they use OpenID.
so I confuse.
meanwhile http://sourceforge.net/projects/phpbb-openid/
did not support Facebook
what do you think ?

Re: Open ID Login
Go with alternate login. It may have conflicting text on the OP's thread, but it actually does contain openID as part of a recent update from user feedback.
